MAINTENANCE - Includes
mowing, edging, line trimming and blowing off of all
hardscape surfaces. Does not include bagging or mowing with
21” mowers unless specified. The growing season is from the
middle of March to the middle of November during which 33
mows will be performed, or February until December for 40
mows. Maintenance may also include cleaning beds and
trimming shrubs if so noted in contract.
CLEAN BEDS - Removal of
all identifiable weeds. All flowers planted from seed or any
unusual plant must be clearly marked. The growing season is
February to September during which bed cleanings will be
performed once a month.
TRIM SHRUBS - Custom
trimming of all specified shrubs according to accepted
horticultural practice. The growing season is from April to
November during which an average of 8 shrub trims will be
performed. All estimates are based on monthly trimming.
TRIM GROUNDCOVER -
Spring trimming of all groundcover (Asian Jasmine, Liriope,
etc.). Service will be performed in March and maintained as
noted in contract.
PRE-EMERGENT WEED CONTROL
- Application of pre-emergent weed control according to
industry standards. Includes post-emergent weed control if
necessary (does not include nut grass). Will be done once in
the early spring (Feb/March) to prevent summertime weeds and
once in the fall (Oct/Nov) to prevent wintertime weeds. Must
receive full program to receive free retreats. Application
typically applied in liquid form.
FERTILIZATION -
Application of professional grade fertilizer according to
industry standards. Starts in April with each application
6-8 weeks apart. Dallis Grass, Crabgrass, Johnson Grass and
other grassy type weeds will be treated in Bermuda dominant
lawns with each fertilizer application. St. Augustine grass
will be treated for Brown Patch or Take All Patch with a
fungicide, if needed. Nut grass and Wild Onion treatments
are not included but can be treated at an additional cost.
PRUNE CRAPE MYRTLES -
Professional pruning and shaping of Crape Myrtles according
to industry standards- will be performed in February.
WINTER CLEAN-UP - Leaf
removal or mowing as necessary. Seven visits during
non-growing season. Typically -1 in November, 2 in December,
1 in January, 2 in February, and 1 in March. All estimates
are based on 7 visits.
TRIM TREES -
Professional pruning and shaping of trees to be performed
according to industry standard in January. (Raising the
canopy only includes first 8 - 10 feet of tree).
SEASONAL COLOR -
Twice-yearly change of premium 4” annual plant material.
Begonias in the Spring and Pansies in the Fall are
recommended.
ORNAMENTAL BED PROGRAM -
Fertilization, Insecticide and Fungicide of designated plant
material.
INSECT AND ANT TREATMENT
- Treatment of Ants, Fleas, Grasshoppers or any other
outside insect.
IRRIGATION CHECK -
Complete check of system includes resetting controller -does
not include repairs.
BRUSH HOG/ MOW LOT -
Mows of an acre or more. Frequency to be determined on
individual basis.
WINTER RYE - Annual
scalping and seeding of professional grade rye seed.
ANNUAL SHRUB TRIM - Once
a year pruning of shrubs.
LAWN AERIFICATION - Core
aeration of turf area to renovate lawn. Includes flagging
sprinkler heads.
DEEP ROOT FEEDING - Slow
release nitrogen applied to trees or shrubs not receiving
other fertilization.
